Pilot season is upon us and that means an obscene amount of roles are up for grabs with networks looking to fill the lead and recurring roles on the numerous potential new shows. Each one needs talent to anchor the series, whether that is one actor or several leads, and it is important to get that casting right. If we had our choice, these are the actors who have demonstrated their abilities and who should get a call about leading their own new series next season.   Luke Mitchell “TheRead More
In anticipation of “Once Upon A Time‘s” return to the small screen, a new still of Georgina Haig and Elizabeth Lail has just been released. Haig, who takes on the role of Ice Queen Elsa, can be seen standing closely behind Lail, who’s set to play the role of her younger sister, Anna. “Frozen” took the hit ABC show by storm in the season three finale when Elsa made an appearance, and season four promises more real-life characters from the Disney favorite. “Frozen” has officially arrived in Storybrooke. Time has released the first official image from season 4 of ABC’s “Once Upon a Time,” featuring our first look at Georgina Haig as the real life version of Ice Queen Elsa of Arendelle. And that looks like Scott Michael Foster, playing the real life Kristoff the Ice Merchant in front of her. TVLine reports that the forthcoming fourth season of ABC’s “Once Upon a Time” will see Scott Michael Foster and Elizabeth Lail playing “Frozen’s” Kristoff and Anna, respectively. Lail takes on the role of Anna, Queen Elsa’s optimistic and loyal younger sister, who was previously voiced by Kristen Bell in the animated film. Meanwhile, Foster is taking over Jonathan Groff‘s role as Kristoff, an ice harvester who also serves as the love interest for Anna. “Frozen” first invaded Storybrooke during the show’s season three finale with an appearance by Elsa herself,Read More
It’s summertime and that means one thing (to me): fresh ABC Family shows. Their newest series, “Chasing Life,” follows April (Italia Ricci), a 20-something journalist just starting out at a newspaper who finds out that she has cancer. The title suggests that with April’s diagnosis comes a “You Only Live Once” facet, and while that will probably come later in the series, the trope is absent in the first three episodes. It’s more along the lines of coming to terms with illness and finding the right time to tell family,Read More
ABC Family’s newest leading lady, Italia Ricci, will be battling cancer on top of the usual growing pains every twenty-something goes through in the first trailer for “Chasing Life,” premiering this summer on the youth-driven cable network. Ricci plays April, an up and coming journalist whose life seems to finally be heading in the right direction with a promotion and a potential new love interest – until she passes out during an event and receives a cancer diagnosis, all at age 24. Nightmare stuff. But she’s plucky and perky andRead More
