Taking the found footage genre away from the supernatural and into law enforcement, ”End of Watch” stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Michael Peña and Anna Kendrick and it was announced today the film would premiere at Toronto International Film Festival.
Directed by David Ayers, the films stars Gyllenhaal and Peña as partner police officers who patrol some of the meanest streets in LA. When they inadvertently stumble upon something more dangerous than expected, they and their families – with Anna Kendrick and Natalie Martinez playing wives to Gyllenhaal and Pena, respectively – are put in danger.
The first trailer was released back in early May and the film has a release date of September 28th, just as TIFF ends.
