Teenage hormones are about to get hairy for Juno Temple and Riley Keough. Ha. Ha. Bradley Rust Gray’s teen romance “Jack & Diane” has long been offhandedly referred to “that lesbian werewolf movie”, and today Vulture has unveiled the first poster which further sticks to its monstrous metaphor. Keough and Temple play Jack and Diane, respectively, two teenage girls who meet in New York City and begin to fall in love right as Diane gets ready to leave the country a week later. As if that weren’t complicated enough, Diane begins to fear she may be turning into a werewolf.

The first clip from the film, which also stars Jena Malone and Dane DeHaan, is below, along with the first poster. It premieres tomorrow night at the Tribeca Film Festival, and has a limited release date of June 1st.

Juno Temple joins pornstar biopic “Lovelace” opposite Amanda Seyfried

December 9, 2011 | Posted by Linda Ge in Casting 1 Comment

Looks like one Linda Lovelace biopic is moving full speed ahead (there are, of course, at least two in the works). Last month Amanda Seyfried signed on to the title role in Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman’s “Lovelace”, replacing Kate Hudson while Peter Sarsgaard also jumped on board to play her pornographer husband Chuck Traynor, replacing James Franco. Now comes word via Variety that the supporting cast is starting to round out, with Juno Temple, West Bentley and Sharon Stone all signing on.

Seyfried will portray the porn star who, “between the birth of the sexual revolution and the culmination of the feminist movement”, became a cross-over celebrity in the mainstream media following the release of the now iconic “Deep Throat.” She later denounced her career in porn, claiming her pornographer husband forced her to star in them, and became a spokeswoman for the anti-pornography movement. Stone will play her mother, Temple her best friend and Bentley her second husband, Larry Marchiano.

Temple recently wrapped a supporting role in Christopher Nolan’s final “Batman” film, “The Dark Knight Rises” and joined the cast of thriller “Magic, Magic” with Michael Cera and Emily Browning. She was recently seen as Queen Anne in the box office bomb “The Three Musketeers 3D” and will has also wrapped up indies like dark comedy “The Brass Teapot” opposite Michael Angarano, lesbian werewolf romance “Jack and Diane”, “A Single Shot” and “Killer Joe.”
