TV: NBC Sets Fall Premiere Schedule

NBC has announced its official premiere dates for both new and returning shows this fall. Most of the dramas take center stage premiering first in September while the comedies are mostly held for the start of October. A breakout hit of last season, “The Blacklist” gets the ball rolling with a premiere Monday, September 22nd at 10 pm (following reality competition staple “The Voice”). “Chicago Fire” returns Tuesday, September 23rd in the 10 pm time slot. Wednesday, September 24th, carries the first new show with “The Mysteries of Laura” premieringRead More
Grimm - Season 3
One of only a handful of shows airing new episodes this week, tonight’s “Grimm” has Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) investigating the old Spanish legend of “El Cucuy,” otherwise known as The Boogeyman. Meanwhile, it looks like Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) is doing some investigating of her own and poring over some really old books. If there’s a still for it, then it can’t be anything good. Then on the December 6th episode, “Stories We Tell Our Young,” a young boy (guest star Gabriel Suttle) suffers from a caseRead More
Grimm - Season 3
With Nick (David Giuntoli) making it out of the recent zombie apocalypse more or less intact, and really the jury is still out on that one, it looks like things are getting back to normal in stills from the November 15th episode, “One Night Stand.” Or as back to normal as they can be in “Grimm” world. The photos don’t actually show much, except that a group of young people seem to momentarily be having fun at the lake (guest stars Michael Welch, Sara Fletcher, Pritesh Shah and Lauren Luiz).Read More
Martin Starr to guest on “The Goldbergs,” and more casting news, including “Game of Thrones,” “Grimm,” “Revolution,” “Starcrossed,” “Believe” and “Deliverance Creek.” “Knocked Up” and “Freaks and Geeks” alum Martin Starr is set to appear on ABC’s new comedy series “The Goldbergs,” which was recently picked up for nine more episodes. Slated to air in January, he’ll guest star as Andre, a video store employee who takes his job just a little too seriously. [EW]Read More
Grimm - Season 3
As Nick (David Giuntoli) continues to struggle with being an undead on tonight’s episode of “Grimm,” titled “PTZD,” the gang must find him and clean up a zombie apocalypse before its too late. It seems like things will mostly turn out all right though, because Nick’s back with Hank (Russell Hornsby) and investigating a new case in stills from the November 8th episode, “A Dish Best Served Cold.” But first in tonight’s episode, Hank, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell), Rosalee (Bree Turner), Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) and even Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz) will come togetherRead More
Grimm - Season 3
NBC has released new photos for the October 25th, season 3 premiere of “Grimm.” The opener is called “The Ungrateful Dead” and based on that title and a few of these photos, we can only assume it’s going to involve some more zombies. In the photos, we see Bree Turner as Rosalee Calvert, an apothecary Fuchsbau, as well as Bitsie Tulloch as Juliete Silverton, who is a veterinarian on “Grimm.” It looks like the ladies will have to fend off zombies as they try to find out what happened to Det.Read More
According to TVLine, Sharon Leal has been cast in NBC’s fantasy drama, “Grimm,” as a physical therapist and potential love interest for Russel Hornsby’s Hank. She will have a recurring role as healthcare pro Zuri Ellis, who is helping Hank with his injured ankle. The verdict is still out on whether or not her character will be Wesen. Co-creator David Greenwalt had only this to say on the matter: “There’ll be some kind of romantic thing with Hank. We’re not sure if it’s going to be a Wesen girlfriend orRead More
