UPDATE: The high resolution version has been added! At this morning’s Warner Bros panel at the San Diego Comic-Con, the first (low quality) glimpse of Gal Gadot in costume and in character as Wonder Woman was projected as an image on the screen. Screen Crush was able to capture a blurry image, which you can see below, though it’s still good enough quality to get a close look at the visual style of the film and how Diana Price’s superhero alter ego will be presented. Take a look below.Read More

After a set photo in Clark Kent garb has made the rounds, Warner Bros have now released the first official image from “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice,” showing Henry Cavill back in the cape and spandex as Superman himself. This was, after all, at one point a “Man of Steel” sequel. There’s not much to go on in the image, which shows Cavill in the same Superman suit he wore in “Man of Steel,” though the dark and stormy setting have led to some speculation that he may beRead More

It’s been common knowledge for months, but Warner Bros have made it official and announced that a “Justice League” movie is in development, and will likely immediately follow “Batman vs Superman,” the still untitled sequel to “Man of Steel” that will see Henry Cavill aka Clark Kent welcome some familiar faces. Ben Affleck has been cast to play Bruce Wayne/Batman and he should have a significant role in the now-filming “Batman Vs Superman,” while Gal Gadot will play Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman, who is rumored to have a smallerRead More

The cast of Zack Snyder’s “Man of Steel” sequel “Batman vs Superman” is slowly but surely starting to come together, with THR reporting today that “Game of Thrones” alum Jason Momoa is in talks for an unspecified role opposite Ben Affleck’s Batman and Henry Cavill’s Superman. If his deal comes together (let’s hope this goes better than his “Guardians of the Galaxy” talks), Momoa will join Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and maybe Adam Driver as Nightwing in the film which increasingly looks like it’ll be a smorgasbord of familiarRead More

Well, I guess that answers that. Wonder Woman is in Zack Snyder’s sequel “Batman vs Superman” and she will be played by Gal Gadot, according to Variety. Gadot tested for the role and beat out competition from Olga Kurylenko and Elodie Young for what is now described as “one of the female leads” in the film. We still don’t know many details about the film, only that Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Clark Kent/Superman, and Ben Affleck is stepping into Bruce Wayne/Batman’s shoes. No indication of how largeRead More

The upcoming film with the coolest group of people working on it just got a little bit cooler. The Wrap reports Adam Driver is now joining Jeff Nichols’ next feature, “Midnight Special,” which already stars Michael Shannon, Joel Edgerton and Kirsten Dunst. The film, described as a modern day chase thriller, follows a dad and his 8 year old son who go on the run after they discover the son is developing special powers. Nichols also previously described the story as a tribute to 1980s John Carpenter, “Starman” in particular.Read More

UPDATE: Latest rumor from Comic Book Movie indicates the other two candidates for the job are Ezra Miller and “Gossip Girl” star Penn Badgley. They wanted a “young John Hawkes” and it looks like they just might get one. The Wrap reports “Girls” breakout star Adam Driver is the frontrunner for the newly revealed role of Dick Grayson in Zack Snyder’s “Batman Vs. Superman” team-up flick. While most of the attention has focused on the search for the female lead, which may or may not be Wonder Woman, Latino ReviewRead More

Ok, so it’s still not 100% officially confirmed that it’s really Wonder Woman, but add Variety to the list of sources now reporting actresses are lining up to test for an unknown role in “Batman vs Superman” that is probably, most likely, maybe Diana Prince, aka Wonder Woman. We heard about former Bond Girl Olga Kurylenko being up for the role yesterday, and now Variety adds two more names to the list: Gal Gadot, who plays Gisele in the “Fast and Furious” franchise, and Elodie Young, who played Rooney Mara’sRead More

Olga Kurylenko is staying busy, now signing on to star in indie thriller “Mara,” it was announced by The Solution Entertainment Group today. On top of that, she has another potentially career-defining opportunity (yes, bigger than being a Bond Girl) on the horizon, as Schmoes Know report she is testing for Zack Snyder’s upcoming “Batman Vs. Superman” film, for the role widely believed to be Wonder Woman. First, the sure thing. “Mara” will be the directorial debut of Clive Tonge and is based on the real life phenomenon of sleepRead More
A mix of established and up and coming actors are being eyed by Warner Bros to go up against Henry Cavill in “Man of Steel 2”, recently unveiled at Comic Con to be Batman vs Superman themed. THR reports an older, more cynical Bruce Wayne is being sought by Zack Snyder and the studio, with Josh Brolin considered the current frontrunner, though with the script still being hammered out, it’s still very early stages. Other names in the mix include Ryan Gosling, who’s also rumored for “Star Wars Episode VII”,Read More
