Dustin Milligan is the latest to join James Wan’s untitled supernatural thriller (previously working under “House of Horrors”), which begins lensing next week in Baton Rouge. Cody Horn joined the cast a couple of days ago, while Maria Bello and Frank Grillo have been set as the leads.
Wan wrote the thriller about a psychologist (Bello) and a police officer (Grillo) who investigate the deaths of five people who were killed attempting to summon a ghost, and the one person who managed to survive. Horn plays a ghost hunter, while Milligan plays a character named John, though no other details are available. Will Canon is directing.
Milligan starred opposite a pre-Twilight Kristen Stewart in a pair of films – “In the Land of Women” and “The Messengers” – and is probably most known for his series regular role on The CW’s reboot of “90120.”

Television star Matt Lanter has landed the lead role in a new indie drama, which is already filming in Michigan while he is on a break from CW series “90210″, reports Variety. Lanter will play the lead in “A Chance of Rain”, which Cindy Gustafson will make her directorial debut, from her own screenplay.
Lanter plays Eric, a young man who encounters his own personal drama, struggles and problems while working on bringing water to a destitute African village. Oy. Sounds a bit #firstworldproblems, but we’ll see.
Lanter has been steadily working on television for years, with roles on everything from “8 Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter” to “Big Love” to “Heroes” to, finally, his regular role as resident brooder Liam on “90210″, now on its third season.
