Last week was all about Clarke, so this week “The 100” gave Eliza Taylor a break and checked in on Arkadia, where things are going to hell fast.
Jasper (Devon Bostick) continues to struggle with life which turns out to be great news for Jaha (Isaiah Washington) and Raven (Lindsey Morgan) who need to recruit more people to The City of Light. With Arkadia running out of supplies and having to ration everying – booze included – figuring out Monty’s (Christopher Larkin) password actually ends up being a good distraction for Jasper and a very good thing for Raven, later (Alie, not so much). When they’ve found what Alie needs, Jasper brings up Finn and Raven goes blank. He continues to bring Finn up, reminding Raven about the necklace, her and Finn’s first kiss, and Raven realizes that she can’t remember anything about him. Unlike Jaha’s reaction to remembering Wells, her realization prompts her to get the hell away from Alie because she’s a smart warrior woman.
Pike (Michael Beach) puts Monty on surveillance outside Arkadia walls…as well as inside, deciding that preventing leaks of their tactics will come from spying on their own people. Unfortunately, this works out for Pike; they find the listening device Kane (Henry Ian Cusick) had planted in Pike’s War Room and hatch a plan a crazy plan in order to catch whoever has been leaking information. Again, Pike’s plan works (Pike: 2, Kane: 0). Kane brings Sinclair aboard the mission, Monty catches them conferring and reports it to Bellamy. Sinclair gets thrown behind bars…with Lincoln (Ricky Whittle). It turns out everyone has a plan and each one is one-upping the other. Sinclair tells Lincoln to be ready.
Kane tries, once again, to get through to Bellamy (Bob Morley), to get him back on the right side, but instead it backfires and Bellamy goes a step further, having Bryan bug Miller, who they (correctly) suspect is working with Kane.
Kane finally has private words with Pike about how he’s a terrible leader and all. Meanwhile, Lincoln does his part in Kane’s plan and starts a riot to distract all the guards while Kane takes Pike down, stuffs him into a jeep, to…somewhere (off a cliff gets my vote!) but is intercepted by Bellamy figuring it out and stopping him before getting through the gate. Kane is locked up and Pike decides that he will be executed. This decision finally wakes Bellamy up to the fact that Pike is a damn tyrant, and when Monty’s mom asks if they’ve identified the others working with Kane, he covers for Miller and Harper. Pray this is his turning point and we get the old Bellamy back.
