In this week’s episode of “Orphan Black” titled “Scarred by Many Past Frustrations,” Helena and Sarah (Tatiana Maslany) are finally reunited. In prison, albeit, but reunited they are. Helena is less than thrilled with Sarah for landing her in imprisonment, but Sarah tries to reason with her “seestrah.” Sarah explains that Mrs. S is the one who made the deal to seal Helena’s fate in imprisonment to save Kira, but Helena won’t have any of it.

Art notices Sarah is missing, and is visited by Gracie (Zoe de Grand’Maison), who asks him for help. He brings her to Mrs. S, who instructs Felix (Jordan Gavaris) to keep an eye on her. Mrs S. and Art discuss Sarah’s disappearance and Art continues to search for Sarah.

Meanwhile, Cosima goes on her first Sapphire date with a girl named Shay (Ksenia Solo), who is all about nutrition, balance and staying zen. While Cosima tries to keep thoughts of Delphine (Evelyn Brochu) out of her mind, someone is taking photos of her and her date. Cosima and Shay connect and kiss, even after she opens up about her breakup and leftover feelings for Delphine.

When Styles (Ari Millen) extracts Sarah from imprisonment, she lets Helena know that the Castor clones are their brothers. Sarah is introduced to Virginia and is forced into taking blood tests to provide the doctor with DNA to make more clones. Sarah tries to coerce Helena into a plan of escape, but Helena’s riddles prove to be a challenge for Sarah to decode. Paul (Dylan Bruce) shows up, and faces off with Sarah after promising that he was only trying to protect her by taking Helena. Sarah wants none of it, and Paul leaves them to their bearings.

Mark wakes up and informs his mother of his marriage to Gracie but Virginia reminds him that the Castor clones can’t have “real” romantic attachments. Paul confronts Virginia about endangering Sarah’s life, but Virginia promises no harm will come to his former subject.

Felix and Mrs. S see a new way of life and decides to give herself a makeover. When she wants to go a club, Felix suggests a cocktail at home instead, and they drink and teach her how to dance like a normal eighteen-year-old. But their good time goes sour quickly as Gracie collapses on the floor in pain.

Sarah continues to try to convince Helena to escape, and when she mentions Kira and her past with drug abuse, Helena gives in. Sarah’s escape attempt lands her a bloody nose and a place in the infirmary where she manages to steal a pair of tweezers. She is returned to imprisonment and she and Helena work on their escape plan while dodging the security cameras. Helena manages to slip out of her jail cell, disconnect the camera and kill the security guard. But much to Sarah’s surprise, Helena leaves without her “seestrah.”

Helena remains literally on the fence about escaping without Sarah, while Paul discovers new information about Virginia’s clones. Meanwhile, a new connection is made between the prostitute and Gracie; they both have bloodshot eyes and the Castor clones seem to be the cause.
