Aubrey Plaza and Robert De Niro are “Bad Grandpa’s” match made in comedy heaven. Plaza has joined the adult comedy starring De Niro and Zac Efron, reports The Wrap.
“Bad Grandpa” follows an Army veteran (De Niro) and his very tense grandson (Efron) on their Spring Break trip. When his grandpa tricks Efron’s character into going to Florida for a wild spring break, the college student may just have to come out of his shell. Plaza will play wild child Lenore and De Niro’s love interest. Zoey Deutch and Dermot Mulroney were also previously cast.
Dan Mazer will direct the film written by John Phillips wrote.
Plaza is best know for her role on “Parks and Recreation,” which begins its final season in a few days. Her other credits include “Safety Not Guaranteed,” “The To Do List,” “Life After Beth” and “About Alex.”
