Bill Weasley is on a roll! “Harry Potter” alum Domhnall Gleeson is in talks to join Leonardo DiCaprio and the rest of the cast of “The Revenant,” Variety reports.
The Irish actor, who can be instantly recognized by his unmistakable Weasley resemblance, will star alongside a slew of superb actors, including Tom Hardy and Will Poulter from “The Chronicles of Narnia” saga.
Based on the novel by Michael Punke, “The Revenant” explores one man’s (DiCaprio) quest for vengeance after his companions leave him for dead following a vicious bear attack. Set in the rugged 1820s West, the film will start shooting in the fall and will be released on January 8, 2016.
Following his stint in the “Harry Potter” franchise, Gleeson has been enjoying a successful ride in Hollywood. From indies to dramas, he’s appeared in many films such as the onscreen adaptation of “Anna Karenina” and “About Time” alongside Rachel McAdams. The actor is also set to appear in “Star Wars: Episode VII,” coming December 2015.
