We’re barely into the Fall 2013 TV season but there is one runaway hit that’s emerged as the clear winner so far, with Fox’s “Sleepy Hollow” already earning a second season pickup 3 episodes into its first. Today we have new images from next week’s 5th episode, which sees Tom Mison’s displaced-in-time Ichabod Crane and Nicole Beharie’s Abbie Mills continue to solve the supernatural mysteries of their small town and fend off the oncoming of the apocalypse.

With the flashback-heavy nature of the show, we’re used to seeing Mison surrounded by period garb, but it appears next week Beharie’s modern woman joins him for a trip down memory lane if these new stills for the episode entitled “John Doe” are any indication. Well, more likely, since they’re investigating an unidentified body, they’re visiting Colonial Williamsburg as part of that investigation. Still, I’m sure many jokes will be made about her being in his world for a change.

“Sleepy Hollow” also stars Orlando Jones as Captain Frank Irving and Katia Winter as Katrina Crane. New stills from episode 1.05 as well as the official episode description can be found below.
