Chloe Moretz gets up close and terrifying in the first teaser poster for Kimberly Pierce’s new adaptation of Stephen King’s classic “Carrie”, which premiered this weekend at New York Comic Con.
Julianne Moore and Moretz appeared on the panel for the film which sees them playing the dysfunctional mother-daughter duo. The mom’s rigid religious rule at home coupled with constant bullying from her schoolmates – which include Alex Russell, Portia Doubleday and Gabriella Wilde – set Moretz’s painfully shy and awkward Carrie White on a supernatural path for vengeance.
“Carrie” will be released on March 15th, 2013. The first trailer will also be released later today, but for now, you can see the first poster below.
