“True Blood” vampire Deborah Ann Woll is the first female to be cast in romantic comedy “Are We Officially Dating?”, according to Deadline. In writer-director Tom Gormican’s film, Zac Efron and Miles Teller will play two of three best friends who make a pact to indulge in only casual sex , without getting into relationships, just as they each begin to fall in love. Woll will play Vera, the ex-wife of one of the guys. Filming begins this November in New York City.

Woll, best known for her role as vampire Jessica Hamby on HBO’s hit series “True Blood”, now headed into its sixth season, was last seen on the big screen in “Ruby Sparks”, which starred Paul Dano and Zoe Kazan. She is attached to the titular, lead role in rom-com Shakespearean adaptation “Rosaline” and recently wrapped up filming on indie “Highland Park.”
