Following her break out turn in 2010′s “Black Swan“, Mila Kunis has been landing some exciting new roles. Up next for the former TV actress is dramedy “The Angriest Man in Brookylyn” alongside Robin Williams.
Variety reports Kunis will play “a stand-in doctor who mistakenly tells an obnoxious patient (Williams) that he has only 90 minutes to live. She desperately tries to locate the man after her prognosis sends him on a contrite tour of the city to right all the wrongs in his life.”
Phil Alden Robinson (“Field of Dreams”) will direct from a screenplay by Daniel Taplitz and filming is set to begin in September in New York.
Kunis was nominated for a first Golden Globe for her stunning performance in Darren Aronofsky’s dark ballet drama “Black Swan”. Earlier this year, Kunis was offered a lead role in the Wachowski’s highly-secretive sci-fi project “Jupiter Ascending” alongside Channing Tatum, and we saw the first set photos of Guillaume Canet’s “Blood Ties“.
