Jessica Szohr to dance for “The Internship”; joins Jena Malone in “Ten Cent Pistol”

After joining several indie films over the past year Jessica Szohr looks set to break into the mainstream, joining comedy A listers Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson in “The Internship“.

To be directed by Shawn Levy (“Night at the Musuem“), the film follows Vaughn and Wilson “as two middle-aged guys who lose their jobs and have to start at the bottom in the new American workforce”.

Szohr will play a dance instructor called Marielena, but Marielena also has a secret dance life that she keeps hidden. “The Internship” is set to begin filming later this summer in Atlanta.

Deadline also reports that Szohr, who got her break on TV’s “Gossip Girl”, will be joining Jena Malone in “Ten Cent Pistol” (formerly titled “The Go-Getters”).

“Ten Cent Pistol”, currently shooting in LA, follows two brothers (Adam Arkin and Joe Mantegna) who realise the consequences of their crimes are beginning to spiral out of control. Szohr will play a LA party girl who is best friends with Malone’s Danneel.

Szohr recently finished filming several films including “Pawn” with Nikki Reed and “Light Years” with Rose McIver.
