Rose Byrne, of “Bridesmaids” fame, and Anna Faris (“What’s Your Number?”) have joined the cast of “I Give It A Year”, along with Rafe Spall and Simon Baker, reports Variety.
Byrne and Spall (“Prometheus”) will play the “mismatched couple [who] struggle to survive their first year of marriage”, as Faris and Baker (TV’s “The Mentalist”) play strong supporting characters in the film written, and to be directed, by Dan Mazer (“Bruno”). Shooting on the film is set to begin in London this spring.
Byrne remained in small supporting roles for years until breaking out last summer in the smash-hit “Bridesmaids”. She is a TV regular, but can next be seen on the big screen as Bradley Cooper’s wife in the Ryan Gosling vehicle, “The Place Beyond The Pines”.
Faris recently worked with Mazer on Sacha Baren Cohen‘s comedy “The Dictator“, after she beat the likes of Kristen Wiig and Gillian Jacobs to the female lead. She was also seen last year in “Take Me Home Tonight”, but is perhaps most famous for her work on the “Scary Movie” franchise and “The House Bunny“.
