Walter Salles‘ adaptation of Jack Kerouac‘s 1958 novel On the Road–a film Francis Ford Coppola has been trying to get to the big screen for more than thirty years–is expected to release to theaters in early December of this year. The script was written by Jose Rivera, who teamed with Salles in The Motorcycle Diaries. On the Road stars Gerrett Hedlund and Sam Riley as Dean Moriarty and Sal Paradise.
